Icelandic Glacial is proud to announce its most recent award win in the shape of the Grocery Headquarters Selling Wellness Trailblazer award for Packaging innovation with its new 750ml sports cap product.
Products were divided into 19 categories and judged on taste profile, packaging and intrinsic health benefits, with Icelandic Glacial winning praise for its stylish new sports cap bottle, which features the company's signature square PET bottle design with a 3D icecap-shaped top and one of four panoramic Icelandic landscapes; along with the new closure which has a quarter-turn valve with a ribbed grip, as an alternative to other pull-up versions on the market.
The awards are in response to the surge of innovation seen at the recent Expo East Show 2006 in the US and throughout the whole health market, and Grocery Headquarters has created the 2006 Selling Wellness Trailblazer Awards to recognize items that have the potential to become big sellers as part of mainstream grocery stores wellness offerings.
